Turin, Mar. 28 (LaPresse) – Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli won the men’s doubles final at the Miami Open presented by Itaù, the second Masters 1000 event of the season. The Italian pair, seeded seventh, defeated the Finnish-British duo of Harri Heliovaara and Henri Patten (fourth seeds) in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. This victory marks the ninth career title for Bolelli and Vavassori, and their second of the season following the ATP 500 in Rotterdam.
