Fuel, MIT: “Motorway concessionaires cut 5 cents per liter”

Rome, Apr. 1 (LaPresse) – “Following the meeting convened by Minister Salvini on March 25 with motorway concessionaires,” the MIT announced that “the latter have accepted the minister’s appeal by launching the process that will lead in the coming days to a reduction in the retail price of fuel by 5 euro cents per liter in service areas on the network under their responsibility for a period of 20 days. The operational proposal developed by AISCAT is in continuity with the government’s intervention of March 19 with the cut of 25 euro cents per liter in excise duty rates. Minister Salvini expresses satisfaction and at the same time is working to convene the oil companies again to avoid further speculation to the detriment of citizens and businesses.”
