Rome, 4 April (LaPresse) – At least one person has died and 47 have been injured following a stampede inside the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, home to the Peruvian team Alianza Lima, during a gathering of fans on the eve of one of the team’s matches. The death toll has been confirmed by the Minister of Health, Juan Carlos Velasco. An investigation is underway.
