Naples: 20-year-old shot dead

Rome, 7 April (LaPresse) – A 20-year-old man, Fabio Ascione, was killed this morning in Naples, in the Ponticelli district. The incident took place at around 5.10 am in Via Carlo Miranda, near the Lively bar. According to the reconstruction by the Carabinieri of the Naples mobile unit and the Poggioreale operational unit, several unknown individuals on a scooter fired several shots, wounding the young man in the chest. Ascione was rushed to the A&E department at Villa Betania, where he later died from his injuries. Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances and motive.
