Madrid (Spain), 8 April (LaPresse) – The Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, has announced the reopening of the embassy in Tehran. Speaking to reporters at the Congress of Deputies, the head of Spanish diplomacy said he had given instructions for the Spanish ambassador in Tehran to return to the Iranian capital, reports Rtve. Madrid had temporarily closed the diplomatic mission on 7 March, a week after the start of the US and Israeli attack on Iran.
