Lebanon, Tajani: “Ceasefire is a crucial step forward for Middle East stability”

Turin, 16 April. (LaPresse) – “We warmly welcome the announcement of a near and imminent ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon promoted by the American Government. We strongly support this crucial step forward for the stability of the entire Middle East, to which we contributed with the mission to Beirut last Monday, maintaining constant contact with President Aoun and Israeli Foreign Minister Saar”. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote it on X. “The ceasefire in Lebanon is crucial to positively resolve the negotiations on Iran and quickly bring peace throughout the region,” he adds.
