Milan, April 15 (LaPresse) – Trump’s Special Envoy Says Putin Open to Permanent Peace Agreement with Ukraine. In a recent interview with Fox News, Donald Trump’s special envoy stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to a "permanent peace" agreement with Ukraine. Witkoff mentioned that he believes a peace deal is "emerging," noting that two of Putin's key advisors, Yuri Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev, participated in a "stimulating" meeting. “Putin’s request is to reach a permanent peace here. So, beyond the ceasefire, we’ve received a response,” Witkoff said, adding that although it took time to get to this point, “I think we might be on the verge of something that would be very, very important for the whole world."
