Milan, 20 April (LaPresse) – The Lombardy Region’s Natural Risk Monitoring Centre has issued a yellow (ordinary) alert for the risk of thunderstorms affecting Milan’s drainage system, effective from 9 pm tonight until 9 am tomorrow, Tuesday 21 April. Citizens are urged to take particular care when near areas at risk of river flooding and underpasses. In any case, it is important to pay close attention to weather conditions during the alert period when attending outdoor events, in order to prevent dangerous situations. The Municipal Operations Centre (COC) of the Civil Protection Department of the Municipality of Milan will be on standby to monitor the situation and coordinate any necessary interventions in the city.
