Four suspected militants were killed when a drone strike hit a checkpoint shortly after midnight in the southern town of Khan Younis, Nasser Hospital reported. Another man was injured in the attack. Furthermore, in the northern town of Beit Lahiya, a 30-year-old woman was killed on Tuesday morning when the Israeli navy opened fire on tents housing displaced people, according to Shifa Hospital. The Israeli army said it was unaware of any attacks in Beit Lahiya.
