Rome, 27 April (LaPresse) – The Board of Directors of the Teatro alla Scala Foundation, meeting today, authorised the Superintendent to sign the contract appointing Maestro Myung-Whun Chung as Music Director. The Director of Human Resources updated the Board on negotiations regarding the renewal of the Scala Contract for the three-year period 2027–2030, as well as on training for senior management on Artificial Intelligence in accordance with the provisions of AI ACT 202471689 of the European Parliament and the Council. Finally, the Board discussed an update to the pricing for the Season Opening Night and the creation of a new Premium price tier covering 10% of the most prestigious seats for all performances during the season, with a view to maintaining and increasing the most affordable price tiers and developing new inclusion initiatives.
