Teatro La Fenice, Giuli: ‘Venezi’s dismissal was an independent decision by the superintendent, which cannot be questioned’

Rome, 27 April (LaPresse) – The Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, has confirmed the statement issued by Palazzo Chigi regarding the free and independent decision taken by the director of the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice, Nicola Colabianchi, concerning the dismissal of Beatrice Venezi. This is, to all intents and purposes, an act that is “beyond reproach, though fully endorsed by the Minister, over which the Government could not have had, and generally does not intend to have, any power to influence”. The Ministry of Culture has made this known in a statement.
