Milan, April 29 (LaPresse) – According to reports, in the summons to appear for Andrea Sempio set for May 6, the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office has modified the charge of voluntary homicide of Chiara Poggi, removing the “involvement of other subjects or of Alberto Stasi” in the crime of August 13, 2007. The accusation of having killed the 26-year-old in the house on Via Pascoli in Garlasco now concerns only the 38-year-old friend of the victim’s brother. In recent weeks, the Pavia Chief Prosecutor, Fabio Napoleone, met with the Milan Prosecutor General to support a request for a review of the trial for Alberto Stasi, who was definitively sentenced to 16 years as the sole killer. At the moment, the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office has not yet sent to Milan the documents related to the new investigation that could prove the innocence of the former boyfriend.
