(LaPresse) – The resumption of the conflict between Iran and the United States is “likely” as the US “is not respecting any promises or agreements.” This was stated by General Mohammed Jafar Asadi, deputy commander of Khatam al-Anbiya, the joint command of Tehran’s armed forces. “The armed forces are fully prepared to confront any new American adventure and madness,” he added, according to the Fars news agency. Regarding statements coming from Washington, “they are aimed at the media, firstly to prevent a collapse in oil prices and secondly to get out of the difficult situation they themselves have created,” Asadi also said.
