Cervia (Ravenna) 17 May (LaPresse) – Jonas Vingegaard secures a second victory, following his success at Blockhaus. The Dane from Team Visma Lease a Bike won the ninth stage of the Giro d’Italia, the 184 km Cervia-Corno alle Scale, crossing the finish line ahead of Austria’s Felix Gall. Third place went to Italian David Piganzoli. Giulio Pellizzari struggled once again, finishing 1’27” behind. The pink jersey remains on the shoulders of Portuguese rider Eulalio, who also retains the Conad White Jersey, reserved for the best under-26 rider in the Giro d’Italia.
