Rome, 18 May (LaPresse) – The interrogation of Salim El Koudri, the 31-year-old arrested after running over several pedestrians in the city centre on Saturday, causing numerous injuries, some of them serious, has been postponed until tomorrow at Modena prison. After the collision, the man reportedly attempted to flee and attacked several people who intervened to stop him with a knife. A graduate in Business Economics, unemployed and with no previous criminal record, he had previously been treated by mental health services for psychiatric or schizoid disorders. Meanwhile, the investigation continues: postal police investigators are analysing the 31-year-old’s computer and smartphone. El Koudri is being defended by lawyer Fausto Giannelli.
