Milan, 20 May (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticised the conduct of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, stating that ‘the way the minister treated the flotilla activists is not consistent with the values and norms of the State of Israel’ . This was reported by Ynet. The reference is to a video of Ben Gvir mocking the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla who were stopped between yesterday and Monday whilst sailing towards Gaza. “I have instructed the relevant authorities to deport the provocateurs as soon as possible,” added the Israeli Prime Minister, who reiterated: “Israel has every right to prevent provocative flotillas of supporters of Hamas terrorism from entering our territorial waters and reaching Gaza.”
