Milan, 22 May (LaPresse) – ‘The goal is for Ukraine to become a full member of the European Union alongside the Western Balkans. This is very important to us.’ This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani upon arriving at the NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Sweden. ‘We must do what is necessary to strengthen Ukraine’s position,’ added the head of the Foreign Ministry, ‘we are in favour of Ukraine becoming a full member of the European Union. But we must pave the way to achieve this goal. We, as Italy, are ready to do more, to respect European rules.’
