Milan, 22 May (LaPresse) – Fiorentina and Atalanta’s league campaign ended in a 1-1 draw, as the two sides were held to a stalemate in the early kick-off of the final matchday of the 2025-26 Serie A season. The Tuscan side took the lead through Piccoli in the 39th minute, with Atalanta equalising via an own goal by Comuzzo in the 82nd minute. Atalanta finish seventh in the table and will therefore compete in the next Conference League, whilst Fiorentina finish in fourteenth place, bringing to a close a season that has been troubled to say the least, with Vanoli’s side fighting long and hard to avoid relegation.
