Roland Garros: women’s doubles, Errani and Tagger advance to the second round

Turin, 27 May (LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Lilli Tagger have progressed through the first round of the women’s doubles tournament at Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam of the current season on the clay courts of Paris. In their opening match, following a convincing performance, particularly from the Italian, they defeated Sofia Kenin and Ashlyn Krueger 6-3, 6-2. In the next round, the Italian and the Austrian, coached by Francesca Schiavone, will face the number 7 seeds, Australia’s Ellen Perez and the Netherlands’ Demi Schuurs.
