Rome, 2 June (LaPresse) – An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale was recorded by stations of the National Seismic Network at 00:12 Italian time on 2 June 2026, with its epicentre in the sea approximately 20 km off the north-western Calabrian coast, near Amantea (province of Cosenza). The quake occurred at a great depth of approximately 250 km. No damage has been reported. The tremor was also felt in other regions of the south.
