ECB, Lagarde: ‘Decision to raise rates was unanimous and unreserved’

Frankfurt (Germany), 11 June (LaPresse) – ‘Today’s decision to raise key interest rates by 25 basis points was unanimous and unreserved.’ This was stated by ECB President Christine Lagarde at a press conference in Frankfurt. ‘We did not discuss or debate any alternative proposals; the one adopted was based on the Eurosystem staff projections and the recommendations of our chief economist. Nothing else was discussed,’ explained Lagarde.
