Milan, 11 June (LaPresse) – Como 1907 “is delighted to confirm the extension of French goalkeeper Jean Butez’s contract until June 2030. Since his arrival on the shores of Lake Como in January 2025, Butez has made 63 appearances and kept 26 clean sheets across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, playing a decisive role in the team’s tenth-place finish last season and their historic first qualification for the Champions League. With him between the posts, the club finished the 2025/26 season with the best defence in Serie A (29 goals conceded) and the highest number of clean sheets in the league (19)”.
