Rome, 15 June (LaPresse) – “It is vital that the world does not remain silent in the face of this latest act of Russian barbarism. This attack is an attack on the Christian community and on humanity’s cultural heritage. There can be no justification for this or any other similar Russian attack. What is needed is greater cooperation to stop Russia’s war and stronger protection to save lives from Russia.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote this on X, condemning the Russian attack on the Pechersk Lavra monastery complex in Kyiv.
