This was revealed to Axios by three sources familiar with those discussions. Ratcliffe is not the only sceptic in Trump’s team. In internal discussions, both Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth have expressed concerns and raised doubts about the memorandum of understanding announced on Sunday, whilst Vice-President Vance and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have supported it, according to two of the sources.
