Milan, 16 June (LaPresse) – CIA Director John Ratcliffe is reported to have told US President Donald Trump and other senior officials that evidence gathered by US intelligence agencies raises serious doubts about Iran’s willingness to make the nuclear concessions that Washington is seeking to secure in the deal to end the war. This was revealed to Axios by three sources familiar with those discussions. Ratcliffe is not the only sceptic in Trump’s team. In internal discussions, both Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth have expressed concerns and raised doubts about the memorandum of understanding announced on Sunday, whilst Vice-President Vance and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have supported it, according to two of the sources.
