Rome, 16 June (LaPresse) – The body of Chiara Guerra, the 53-year-old teacher killed on Thursday evening in San Stino di Livenza, in the Venice area, has been found by the Carabinieri. Her 17-year-old nephew has confessed to the crime, telling investigators that he had thrown the body into the Malgher canal. Carabinieri diving teams have been searching for days with the support of divers; they have located the body and are now working to recover it. The operation began following information provided by the young man, who also reportedly stated that he had thrown the murder weapon into the same waters. The search was made particularly difficult by the canal’s connection to other waterways and the presence of currents.
