Rome, 18 June (LaPresse) – Carlo Lucarelli is back, and Vittorio Brumotti will host two programmes. These are some of the new developments – according to information obtained by LaPresse – in Rai’s programming line-up ahead of the upcoming television season. This autumn, Lucarelli – as LaPresse had anticipated in recent weeks – will bring back the famous ‘Blu notte’, dedicated to unsolved Italian mysteries, to the public service channels. Brumotti, formerly of Mediaset, will, for his part, host two programmes: one focusing on regional areas and the other (likely to be titled ‘Ultima chiamata’) dedicated to storytelling. On the current affairs front, the picture is taking shape following Milo Infante’s departure: Salvo Sottile will take his place on ‘Ore 14’ in the afternoon slot, but Rai is considering the possibility of also entrusting him with ‘Ore 14 sera’ on Thursdays on Rai2. Roberto Inciocchi, for his part, will take the helm of a prime-time political talk show on Wednesdays on Rai2. Discussions are underway as to who will take his place on ‘Agorà’ and Sottile’s on ‘Farwest’, with Antonino Monteleone remaining the frontrunner. In the daytime slot, there is no doubt about ‘Domenica In’, which will continue to be hosted by Mara Venier and will once again feature Tommaso Cerno.
