Rome, Jun. 20 (LaPresse) – Iran announces the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, in response to what it considers “violations of the Memorandum of Understanding by the United States and Israel” over Israeli attacks in Lebanon. Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters stated that “the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is a first step, and we warn that further measures will be taken if the aggression continues”.
