Rome, Jun. 20 (LaPresse) – Italy’s women’s foil team defeated France away with a score of 45-31 to become European champions at the event held in Antony, near Paris. Arianna Errigo, Martina Batini, Anna Cristino and Martina Favaretto made up the Italian quartet. It is the fifth consecutive continental title for the Italian women’s foil team in the team event, and the 17th overall.
