Milan, 21 June (LaPresse) – Three minors have died in a road accident in the municipality of Senago, in the province of Milan, where a car carrying nine people veered off the road and plunged into the Villoresi Canal. The Fire Brigade attended the scene alongside the Carabinieri. Rescue teams, deployed with numerous vehicles and specialist personnel, immediately began search and rescue operations. Initially, seven people were recovered, six of whom were handed over to medical staff and one of whom was confirmed dead. During the subsequent operations to recover the vehicle, the Fire Brigade also located and recovered the bodies of the other two deceased persons from inside the car. Operations to recover the vehicle and secure the area are currently underway. In addition to the Fire Brigade, AREU medical staff and Carabinieri from the Rho station were on site to carry out the necessary investigations.
