Rome, 21 June (LaPresse) – Tragedy on the Torvaianica seafront, in the municipality of Pomezia, where a 16-year-old boy lost his life in a road accident involving a car, a motorbike and a scooter. Efforts to save the young motorcyclist were in vain, whilst a second injured person was taken to hospital in critical condition. The crash took place on Via del Mare, near Via di Val Fiorita. According to initial reports, a BMW driven by a 20-year-old is believed to have rear-ended a Ducati ridden by a 53-year-old; immediately afterwards, the 16-year-old, riding an Aprilia 125, collided with the car. The Pomezia Carabinieri are investigating, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Velletri.
