Brussels, 22 June (LaPresse) – Two people have died and seven have been injured following a Russian drone attack overnight in Zaporizhzhia. This was announced by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform. “During the night of 20 June 2026, the Russians struck civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia using drones. As a result of the enemy bombardment, two women, aged 39 and 53, were killed. A further seven people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy,” the statement reads. As a result of the attacks, private homes, high-rise buildings, warehouses, non-residential buildings and agricultural facilities were partially destroyed or damaged.
