Milan, 24 June (LaPresse) – England’s progress has been halted, held to a 0–0 draw by a very defensive Ghana side and forced to postpone their qualification until the final matchday. In Group L, however, Croatia have reason to smile again, beating Panama 1-0 thanks to a goal from Budimir, on the evening of Luka Modric’s 200th cap for his country. Colombia also secured a victory, beating the Democratic Republic of the Congo 1-0 with a goal from Muñoz and securing their place in the knockout stages, with first place in the group now to be decided on the final matchday.
