Naples, 24 June (LaPresse) – An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale struck the Campi Flegrei at 3.02. The Vesuvian Observatory, the INGV’s Naples office, has pinpointed the epicentre in the municipality of Pozzuoli, not far from Rione Terra and Solfatara. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 3 km and was felt by the public. No damage has been reported. A seismic swarm has been ongoing in the Campi Flegrei area since that time. So far, eight earthquakes have been preliminarily recorded.
