Rome, 24 June (LaPresse) – The former mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, has been released from Rebibbia prison in Rome after serving a sentence of 1 year, 5 months and 24 days for the offences of influence-peddling and abuse of office, as part of the ‘Mondo di Mezzo’ investigation. Waiting to welcome him as he left the prison were his defence lawyer, Edoardo Albertario, and around a hundred friends and supporters.
