Rome, June 24 (LaPresse) – “The government must provide Parliament with the list of the 500 US military aircraft that, according to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, took off from Italian military bases to take part in Epic Fury, namely Trump and Netanyahu’s war against Iran. This is the subject of the parliamentary question I am about to submit, in which I ask the government to indicate the dates, aircraft types and operational roles of the planes that, according to the NATO Secretary General’s statements, participated in the war against Iran.” This was stated by Angelo Bonelli, member of parliament for AVS and co-spokesperson of Europa Verde. “Rutte’s statement contradicts the Meloni government which, unless the NATO Secretary General issues a dramatic denial, unfortunately misled Parliament. Trump and Meloni could have spared us the spectacle of their dispute, which at this point appears to be a staged performance designed to cover up the Italian government’s support for the war against Iran. Minister Crosetto should stop telling fairy tales, because claiming that those 500 aircraft were unrelated to the war is an unacceptable mockery,” he concluded.
