After retiring at the Roland Garros due to illness, the world number 1 made his seasonal debut on grass by playing the exhibition tournament Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club in London. Sinner defeated British player Cameron Norrie in his first match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
