Naples, 25 June (LaPresse) – An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck overnight in the Campi Flegrei area. The tremor occurred at 4.17 am at a depth of 3 km and was felt by residents in the Phlegraean towns of Pozzuoli and Bacoli, as well as in the western districts of Naples. The INGV’s Vesuvian Observatory pinpointed the epicentre in the Arco Felice area of Pozzuoli, near Monte Nuovo.
