Industry: Istat reports a 0.3 per cent month-on-month increase in turnover in April, and a 3.2 per cent year-on-year increase

Milan, 25 June (LaPresse) – Istat estimates that, in April, seasonally adjusted industrial turnover increased by 0.3 per cent in value and fell by 1.0 per cent in volume compared with March; for services turnover, it estimates an increase of 0.1 per cent in value and 0.3 per cent in volume. On an annual basis, industrial turnover, adjusted for calendar effects, rose in value terms (+3.2%) and fell in volume terms (-0.6%). Turnover in the services sector, also adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 4.2% in value terms and by 1.5% in volume terms.
