This is according to *Marca*, which reports that the Argentine midfielder will stay at Como after the Italian club and the Spanish giants reached a new agreement to extend his stay in Serie A. This agreement allows Como to retain one of its most promising talents, whilst enabling Real Madrid to maintain control over a player they still regard as a key asset for the future. The decision comes after a few intense hours at the Bernabéu offices. Real Madrid had decided to exercise the €9 million buy-back clause for Nico Paz, a contractual option that would have allowed them to bring the player back to Madrid following his successful season in Italy.
