Rome, 28 June (LaPresse) – The police and Carabinieri are continuing their relentless search for the killer who, on Friday evening, murdered a family – the father, mother and daughter – and seriously injured their other son, aged 18, in a flat on Via Montiglio in the Casalotti district of Rome. The suspect, a 43-year-old Bangladeshi national named Hossain Shahadat – a fellow countryman of the victims – is believed to have killed the three with a cleaver, which has been seized. The building is being guarded by the State Police, who are on site with a patrol car. The search for the fugitive, who is officially registered as living in Frosinone in the Ciociaria region, has been extended to an international level, but as the hours pass, the possibility that Hossain Shahadat may have taken his own life is becoming increasingly likely.
