The world number 16 and 14th seed at the ongoing grass-court Grand Slam at the All England Club lost in straight sets to Ethan Quinn (world number 47), who won 7-6(7), 7-5, 6-2 in their very first head-to-head meeting. The Villa Gesell-born player had a set point in the first set and led 5-3 in the second before losing four consecutive games.
