Schlein: “Meloni’s sole priority is power; she is holding the institutions to ransom”

Rome, 30 June (LaPresse) – “In a country where there is a shortage of 70,000 nurses, in a country where the waiting list for a gastroscopy can be as long as a year and a half, Giorgia Meloni’s priority is the electoral law, it is power, it is the Quirinale. I would like them to finally start addressing the real problems facing Italians, rather than holding the institutions and Parliament hostage so they can sort out their own issues.” So said PD leader Elly Schlein upon arriving at a conference on electoral law organised by the Demo Foundation.
