Turin, 30 June (LaPresse) – Matteo Arnaldi suffered a first-round defeat at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the current season on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, after being knocked out in four sets by France’s Halys, who thus dashed the Sanremo-born player’s hopes of reaching the second round. The Italian lost 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(5), 6-3 after nearly three hours of play.
