Rome, 2 July (LaPresse) – “Each of our bilateral agreements with partners on air defence is of great help, and it is particularly important to move forward with the implementation of our agreements on the production of anti-ballistic missiles. We are counting heavily on the United States’ decisions regarding licences for Patriot missiles.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X following the massive night-time attack by Russian armed forces on Kyiv, which claimed at least 13 lives. “Supplying air defence systems to Ukraine is an absolute priority and a crucial matter,” he added. “This is what can stop the war and these attacks.”
