Milan, 2 July (LaPresse) – The Court of Justice of the European Union has announced that it has dismissed the appeal lodged by Google and Alphabet against the ruling of the General Court of the EU, which had imposed a fine of around 4.1 billion euros on the two companies, thereby upholding the fine imposed for anti-competitive practices relating to the Android operating system. The fine imposed for abuse of a dominant position therefore remains valid.
