Turin, 2 July (LaPresse) – “In Austria, we lost a lot of time on the straights, and although I think the Ferrari is a great car, that problem needs to be sorted out. There are some important straights here too.” So said Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton at a press conference ahead of the British Grand Prix, due to take place this weekend at Silverstone. “My engineers have asked me a lot about Silverstone, and I hope I’ve steered them in the right direction. I’m not thinking too much about the winner’s trophy; it’ll be difficult for us,” he admitted. “But I’m aiming to do everything as well as possible. Here, at home, I hope the fans’ support will give me that extra boost to close the gap on the others. There’s no pressure with so many fans here, just great pleasure and a boost.”
