Rome, 5 July (LaPresse) – The son of Jacques and Jessica Moretti, owners of the ‘Le Constellation’ venue where the New Year’s Eve massacre in Crans-Montana took place, has been expelled from the prestigious school he attended. The Swiss daily Blick reports this, explaining that the four-year-old boy was enrolled at the Régent International School in Crans-Montana, a school with annual fees ranging from 75,000 to 120,000 Swiss francs (between 80,000 and 130,000 euros), attended mainly by British pupils. The school’s management has not issued any statements on the matter but – as Blick reports – it is rumoured that the parents of other pupils exerted pressure because, in their view, it was ‘unacceptable’ for the Morettis to pay the school’s fees after having ‘abandoned’ the victims of the tragedy financially. The Moretti family – it is explained – has refused to comment on the matter, whilst sources close to the couple have let it be known that a solution has been found by transferring the child to a state school in Lens, in the canton of Valais.
