London, July 6 (LaPresse) – Jasmine Paolini’s run at Wimbledon continues, the third Grand Slam of the season taking place on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. The Italian player, competing on Centre Court under the eyes of Roger Federer and Kimi Antonelli, defeated Filipino Alexandra Eala, world number 32 in the WTA rankings, in the round of 16 in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in two hours and 23 minutes of play. In the quarter-finals Paolini, world number 17, will face Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, world number 13.
