This was stated by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with the Financial Times (FT), emphasising that the decisive phase of the war has shifted from land and sea to the skies. In the interview, given on Monday just a few hours after a massive Russian attack on Kyiv, Zelensky stated that his country has already managed to prevent Russia from achieving victory on the battlefield and has driven the Russian fleet out of much of the western Black Sea, leaving the airspace as the decisive theatre of operations. “Today, I believe that victory in this war will go to whoever is more astute,” said Zelensky.
