Milan, 7 July (LaPresse) – Lamin Saidilly remains in custody. This was decided by the Milan investigating magistrate, Luigi Iannelli, who granted the request for pre-trial detention made by the public prosecutor, Elio Ramondini, against the 22-year-old from Conegliano, originally from The Gambia, who was arrested on Saturday after stabbing a 55-year-old man around twenty times for no reason outside the ‘La Giada’ bar in Via Alfonso Capecelatro, Milan. Represented by lawyer Simona Brambilla, the young man exercised his right to remain silent on Monday during his preliminary hearing at San Vittore prison. Saidilly is under investigation for attempted murder, aggravated by premeditation and trivial motives.
